Carlos Gómez, MHA | President & CEO​

 

Carlos Gómez serves as the President & CEO for Vital Health Primary Care.  He has over 8 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.  Mr. Gomez's health care related experience includes management of health studies, policy and advocacy at the legislative level, managed care, and practice management. 

 

He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Business Administration (DBA) at the University of the Incarnate Word, where be previously obtained his Master's Degree in Health Administration (MHA), and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Our Lady of the Lake Unversity.

Michael Garcia, MD | Medical Director / Family Physician

Dr. Michael Garcia has been a practicing physician since 1987.  He obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1981, and completed his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in 1985.  Dr. Garcia has served as Managing Physician and President of Michael Garcia MD, PA for the past 9 years.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in women's health to Vital Health Primary Care.

Mary L. Clem | Practice Manager

 

Mary L. Clem serves as the Practice Manager of Vital Health Primary Care.  She has been in the health care field since 2006, and has extensive experience in medical records, front and back office operations, contract management, quality assurance, and finance.  Ms. Clem's previous roles includes Operations Supervisor for a Managed Care agency and Medical Records Lead, among other leadership positions in both the Provider and Payer arenas.

William Pinkley, M.D. | Lead Physician

 

​Board Certified Medical Doctor, Family Medicine

 

Dr. William Pinkley has been practicing medicine since 1986. He obtained his Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 1985. Dr. Pinkley then completed his family medicine internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center / San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1986.

Carol Tran, PA-C | Physician Assistant

Carol Tran, PA-C has been a practicing physician assistant since 2003.  She obtained her Physician Associates (Master of Health Sciences) degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center (OUHSC) in 2002, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1999.  PA Tran has obtained valuable experience through her practice in a variety of specialty fields, to include, Orthopedic, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Rheumatology.
